MUSIKEXPRESS presents: The Week-End Fest XII in Cologne

The festival kicks off from November 2nd to 4th. Here is an overview of the programme.

From November 2nd to 4th, the gates of the Cologne Stadthalle will be open again for the Week-End Festival. When it comes to the line-up, the festival always focuses on young and adventurous acts that are at home beyond the mainstream. The 12th edition of the event also promises some exciting indie and avant-garde pop artists who will bring new music with them.

Since 2011, when Jörg Waschat (1971-2018) and Jan Lankisch organized the Week-End Fest for the first time, the festival has developed into an institution in the megacity on the Rhine. And this year, too, it’s about giving artists a stage that you don’t normally find in the charts so quickly.

In 2023, among others, the bassist Farida Amadou, the international jazz combo Joyce & Ensemble, the singer-songwriter Mndsgn, Lonnie Holley, Nabihah Iqbal and many more will be present – and we present the entire event.
