Devo are back for a tour update. After more than 30 years, the new wave band from America is finally coming back to Germany as part of their “Farewell And 50 Years” tour.
On August 15, 2023 they will play an exclusive show in the capital in the Zitadelle Spandau – presented by MUSIKEXPRESS. Tickets are between 60 and 100 euros to buy here.
In 1973, Bob and Gerald founded Casale Devo with Mark Mothersbaugh. A year later, Mark’s brothers Bob and Jim joined the band. In 1978 her debut album Q: ARE WE NOT MEN? A: WE ARE DEVO! Bob Casale, who was also called “Bob 2” within the band, took over the part as the group’s guitarist. Occasionally he also appeared as a producer with Mark Mothersbaugh. Their most famous songs included “Whip It!” and Mongloid”.
In 1991, Devo initially broke up, but from 1996 they played occasional concerts again. In 2010 the new wave pioneers released a new album called SOMETHING FOR EVERYBODY.
