muse release a new single, “Won’t Stand Down” – their first in four years.
According to vocalist and guitarist Matt Bellamy, the song is about standing up to bullies, whether it’s on the playground or at work. One must protect oneself from coercion and sociopathic manipulation and face adversity with strength, confidence and aggression, he explains.
Muse will also release a music video for the new single, directed by Jared Hogan.
Won’t Stand Down marks the band’s first release since their 2018 album SIMULATION THEORY. The single is said to be a foretaste of the forthcoming ninth album the group has been working on for the past year. Muse have not yet announced any further details about the album or even a release date.
But a new record should come, because: Muse will play at several festivals in Europe this summer, as far as Corona allows. here you will find all concerts, including the “Tempelhof Sounds”, presented by ROLLING STONE and Musikexpress.
