In the end of the year, VfB Stuttgart has to do without the Japanese Hiroki Ito. The defender has been a constant for the Swabians so far.
Hiroki Ito is no longer available to VfB Stuttgart this calendar year. The Japanese international withdrew in the 2-1 win at Eintracht Frankfurt suffered a muscle injury and will therefore not be able to play again until the winter break. In coordination with VfB, Ito traveled to his homeland to complete the necessary rehabilitation measures there.
“The loss of Hiroki clouds the joy of our victory in Frankfurt because he is a very important player for us with his footballing qualities and his mentality,” said sports director Fabian Wohlgemuth. “Unfortunately, the injury means we will have to be without him for a long time.”
