The discussion forum MuroBBS, which has been in operation for more than 20 years, will cease to exist in its current form on 14 April, Muropaketti.com news. The reason given is the slowdown in discussions in recent years.
MuroBBS has been part of Muropaketti.com, maintained by Otavamedia, which will continue to operate as normal after the forum closes.
The Cereal Package states that registered users will be notified of the closure of MuroBBS via private message as well as via email if the person has been logged in during the past year.
– All data and messages from MuroBBS users will be deleted three months after the forum is closed. They will be kept for this time for possible requests for clarification from the authorities, Muropaketti writes.
