One of those women came to Miguel shortly after the disappearance of her friend Buran, saddened and worried about her whereabouts. The woman knew that, months ago, Miguel had met the 64-year-old Iranian woman in a bar, when after a bad streak, she had been left in a vulnerable situation and decided settle in a hostel in Jerez.
“Many people disappear and don’t come back”
Far from comforting his friend, the retiree responded: ““There are many people who disappear and do not return.”. Therefore, before meeting Miguel that summer day, he decided to send her an audio message to warn her: “I’m going to see this man. Crime reconstruction
After his arrest, Buran’s murderer agreed to reconstruct his crime accompanied by the judge in the case, his lawyer and several police officers. Miguel explained to them in great detail how he had dismembered his victim’s body: “It took me thirty or forty minutes, no more. The rest of the time when he is explaining his latest crime, Miguel is calm, he only complains when he has to repeat or clarify questions asked of him by the judge, who continues, firmly, her interrogation: “Didn’t any neighbor see him put the bags in the trunk of your car?” Miguel looks at her, tired, and answers: “In summer, at four in the afternoon, There is nobody in the street.
