The stock of medicines for privileged categories of citizens in the regions covers the needs for 5.5 months. About it declared Minister of Health of Russia Mikhail Murashko on the air of the Russia 1 TV channel.
“For privileged categories of citizens in our regions, the supply is more than 5.5 months, and we advance, including the purchase,” Murashko said.
Murashko urged Russians not to create excessive demand for medicines
Earlier, the newspaper Vedomosti, citing a survey of the professional community Vrachi.rf, reported a shortage of 80 types of medicines.
“Doctors spoke about problems with anti-inflammatory (children’s Nurofen), gastroenterological (Ursofalk), antiepileptic, anticonvulsant drugs (Finlepsin, Depakine, diazepam, carbamazepine, latuda-56), as well as antidepressants (paroxetine, anafranil) and antipsychotics (rispolept)”, — wrote the publication.
