Mural brightens up former hotel in Knokke before demolition

In the autumn, hotel Le Rallye, along the Bayauxlaan in the center of Knokke-Heist, will be completely demolished. Five new apartments will be erected on the site. In anticipation of this, the new owners wanted to transform the building into a real eye-catcher and called on street art artist Wietse for this. The native of Bruges has already caused a furore with huge paintings at home and abroad. For example, there are numerous murals to admire in his hometown, but he has also taken on a number of buildings in Ghent, Zeebrugge and Ostend, among others.
