Homeowners in Westerveld can get a refund of up to 500 euros from the municipality when they make an investment for the second time in making their home more energy-efficient. By subsidizing the second investment (and not the first), the municipality is trying to encourage home owners to take an extra step in making their homes more energy-efficient.
When a home owner makes a second investment in the home (carried out by a company and aimed at making the home more energy-efficient), this second investment can be subsidized for 25 percent and with a maximum of 500 euros.
The subsidy is granted if the measure is included in the list of energy-saving investments, the application meets the conditions and there is still a budget available.
