Municipalities and companies order Ukrainian flags in abundance

The Waelkens flag company only had 25 Ukrainian flags in stock. For comparison, the company has about 500 of the Belgian flag in stock as standard. Last Friday, when Russian President Putin invaded Ukraine, the company immediately placed an order for 25 flags. The number, meanwhile, continues to rise.

Demand is also high at the company’s larger production facility in Romania.
