On the occasion of the Chinese New Year, the traditional British brand Mulberry has released a limited capsule collection with the popular picture book bunny Miffy. The collection is all about the upcoming Year of the Rabbit.
The Dutch bunny graces a range of bags and accessories in the Mulberry x Miffy collection, including key fobs, travel and tech accessories, as well as small leather goods and bag styles. Miffy peeks out from behind envelopes, adorns the straps of Mulberry’s classic Bayswater bag and appears on several new canvas and leather styles designed specifically for the collection.
The collaboration also reflects Miffy’s signature minimal design and bright color palette, with models in “happy colors” such as orange, green, blue and chalk tones.
In addition, the collection underlines Mulberrys “Made to Last” ethos and was made from 100 percent environmentally friendly, climate-neutral leather.
To celebrate the collaboration, Mulberry has also produced a campaign film which showcases Miffy’s love of adventure and features the rabbit playing hide and seek in Shanghai.
The Mulberry x Miffy collaboration is available in Mulberry stores worldwide through the brand’s online store. The collection is priced between 65 euros for a canvas tote and 1295 euros for a large Bayswater tote with a Miffy design.
