Muhammed Gümüşkaya, who transferred from Fenerbahçe to Westerlo, said that his goal is to fight with the Belgian team in European cups and to wear the A National Team jersey.
In his first interview with his new team in Belgium, Muhammed said, “It was a difficult and long process, but finally my transfer took place. I would have liked to have more chances to play in Fenerbahçe and to win championships with Fenerbahçe, but there is nothing to do. These exist in life and football. Good luck,” he said.
Stating that everything started well for him in Belgium, Muhammed Gümüşkaya said, “We started well. I passed a few tests, the results came out very well. Here, Brother Halil, Brother Sinan and Ravil are very helpful in my adaptation process. My goal is Europe with Westerlo next season. “There are good teams in the Belgian League, but I think we are a good team too. I believe we will finish the league in a good place,” he said.
“My TARGET IS LA LIGA AND THE PREMIER LEAGUE”
Underlining the importance of playing regularly in Westerlo, Muhammed said the following about his career plans:
I signed a 4 year contract with Westerlo. I want to evaluate this process very well. With the contribution of both me and Westerlo to me, I want to play well here, get good times and go to other teams in Europe. My target is La Liga and the Premier League.
“I WANTED TO LIVE THE CHAMPIONSHIP WITH FENERBAHÇE”
The young football player used the following statements about the farewell video he prepared for him after Fenerbahçe’s transfer to Westerlo:
Many thanks to those who prepared it. They shared my speech there. I still have the same feelings and emotions. I signed a lifetime contract with Fenerbahçe in my heart. It continues this way.
Muhammed Gümüşkaya, one of the names who made the A Team from Fenerbahçe’s infrastructure, said about his days in the yellow-dark blue club, “I played in the infrastructure for many years, it was my dream, like every child’s dream, to play in the Fenerbahçe A Team, to wear the sticked jersey and to score goals. “I am very happy. Only the sad part is that I could not win the championship with Fenerbahçe. I would like to experience it,” he said.
Mohammed, “Among the goals, is there to wear Fenerbahce jersey again in the future?” He replied, “I hope there is, of course.”
Noting that proving himself in Westerlo can speed up the process of joining the National Team, the young football player said, “Most importantly, I need to take time. Even if I am here, I cannot go to the national team again. Like every Turkish football player’s goal, my goal is to wear the A National Team jersey. As long as I can do it,” he said.
