In Hungary, there is much opposition to a government decree to allow the felling of forests in, among other things, nature parks to obtain firewood. With this measure, the government of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán wants to offer the population an alternative to heat the stove in the winter, now that the supply of gas from Russia is highly uncertain.
