Much damage after fire broke out in vacant Bergen restaurant

A lot of damage was caused by a fire in a vacant restaurant on Breelaan in Bergen. A local resident had to be checked in an ambulance.

The fire at the former restaurant De Story Bistrobar broke out just before 1 a.m. on the ground floor. The fire brigade was able to prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring homes.

According to a reporter on site, a resident of an upper house was checked in the ambulance after inhaling smoke. It is not clear how the local resident is doing.

It is not the first time that a fire has broken out in the vacant restaurant. A small fire in the building was extinguished in October last year.
