One of Finland’s most successful tube players, Roni Bäck, says that domestic harassment has left deep scars on her.

– There has been so much domestic disturbance. They have become really deep scars and I have been left somehow afraid of what it would be like if I didn’t live there high up and sheltered. I don’t even have my own name on my door, and yet people find me, she says in the episode.
Bäck recalls a case of domestic harassment that happened around the same time as the US president Donald Trump visited Finland.
– In my last apartment, I shot one video from my balcony because Trump just happened to drive by it. I thought it was such a cool thing that I thought: “Now let’s try to publish a video like this, from which we might be able to interpret where I live”, says the man.
– A couple of days later, people were throwing berries at my window and shouting: “Roni, come out”. Then the neighbor called the police, who came to take the people away. I happened to be at the cottage then, luckily. I learned from that that I don’t publish anything that identifies where I live, he adds.

Tubettaja had her first child together with former badminton player Airi Mikkelä, 30, in early 2023. Bäck has made it clear in February that they intend to keep their children out of the public eye.
The couple met on Tinder and dated for a few years before getting engaged in September 2021. The two announced in July that they were married.
