It’s crazy how such charlatans are always successful in the football business. But it’s no different in other industries.
But he probably couldn’t handle a lot of money. But there is no such danger here with Msv…
If it works, then you can only wish Msv that they stay in class and get back into calmer waters.
I don’t understand all the negative stuff here at all. The man has worked for years at almost always the highest level in Germany and not for 1 or 2 years, but for over 10 years and is therefore an absolute professional in his field, in contrast to the caricatures that have been running around here in recent years. Because he hasn’t had a club for the last 2 years does that mean he’s bad and nobody wants him? No, as with players, players do not HAVE to accept the first offer that comes along, but rather choose what suits them best. Maybe there wasn’t anything that convinced him, who knows. He is certainly not a manager that a Bundesliga team would hire now or who is one of the top managers in Germany. BUT at the level we are currently at, it would bring more professionalism overnight and would definitely be a benefit for our club. We have one foot in the 4th league and some people should lower their expectations a bit. If a manager who has been in the Bundesliga or 2nd division for years isn’t enough, who will? For me he would definitely not be a savior, but someone who I would at least trust to turn things around, in contrast to the semi-professional Heßkamp, who would be completely wrong. Preetz didn’t do everything right in his Hertha years, but he certainly didn’t do everything wrong either and what he did well would help our club, which, as I said, has one foot in the regional league. His contacts etc. will be significantly better than Heßkamp and Co.
