FOOTBALL – MSC has won the Meppeler city derby 7-1 against Alcides. Big man on the black and white side was Soufiane El Kadouri, who at times played the defense of the guests drunk. The playmaker also accounted for three hits.
In the first act, the visitors come along nicely. It gets another great opportunity in the opening phase after a flowing attack over the right via Thomas Bos. His pass to Dyon van den Berg is only thwarted by an excellent sliding by right wing defender Jort Veelo.
Still, the initial phase is for the home team, which is much more dangerous than the yellow shirts. First, Alcides keeper Pim Lammerink gets help from the crossbar, after a bet by Lotfi Elkhatari. Moments later, the goalkeeper reacts cat-like to a flaming shot from Yves Spruijt.
Four goals in fifteen minutes
After half an hour of playing, Björn Lefferts is sent into the depths. Lammerink doesn’t assess the situation well and is outplayed by the MSC attacker, who is not selfish afterwards. With a low cross to El Kadouri, he has a large share in the opening goal of the later man of the match.
Not long afterwards, the same El Kadouri finds the net again, but he does so in an offside position. Lammerink then distinguishes himself again by coming out as the winner after a one-on-one situation with Elkhatari, but from the corner that follows, El Kadouri is again in the right place: 2-0.
