The MR proposes, after extending the five still active nuclear reactors until their end of life, to expand the nuclear park between 2035 and 2040 by 8 Gigawatt (GW). The measures are part of the “energy revolution” proposed by the French-speaking liberals at a press conference on Wednesday. The aim is to decarbonise our energy by 2050.
