The police arrested a man in Zaandam on Thursday evening who had been kicked out of the Pathé cinema earlier in the evening, but returned very quickly. According to the police, this is a known nuisance perpetrator, who will soon receive an area ban from the city center.
The man had entered the hall where Bon Bini Beach was playing without a valid entrance ticket. He did not like that film, which he announced with much fanfare. “Screaming loudly, the man announced that he could not find the film,” the Zaanstreek police wrote Instagram.
When cinema staff asked the man to leave the room, he became so defiant that the police were called. He recognized the man as a known nuisance and fined him. After Pathé told him that he was no longer welcome, he was led outside by the officers.
Area ban
Even before the police had left the cinema, the man returned. He was then arrested for trespassing. As far as we know, he has not been detained, but has been registered with the municipality for an area ban. As soon as this comes into effect, the man will no longer be allowed to appear in the center for a certain period of time.
