Movement villages in Peize and Norg receive a fixed amount, Roden not yet

The so-called ‘exercise villages’ in Peize and Norg receive structural funding from the Noordenveld municipality. The Roden Fit en Gezond Foundation will receive a one-time money pending an investigation.

The Roden foundation can look forward to 30,000 euros. The council proposed making this a fixed subsidy, but the council wants to have the foundation evaluated first. Peize in Beweging and Stichting Beweegdorp Norg do receive direct structural funding, namely 40,000 euros per year.

The exercise villages have set themselves the goal of contributing to a sportier and more vital living environment. The foundations do not want to compete, but rather collaborate with sports associations.

With the money, the foundations can set up activities and events, among other things.
