Mouz NXT wins CS:GO WePlay Academy League

There is no way around Mouz NXT in the “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive” youth scene. With a final win against BIG Academy, the team won the WePlay Academy League for the fourth time.

Mouz NXT has been part of the tournament series created for junior teams from professional organizations from the very beginning and has always prevailed in the past seasons. Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás and Jon “JDC” de Castro have already been promoted by Mouz, while BIG also promoted Karim “Krimbo” Moussa to the first team.

In its fourth season in about a year, Mouz NXT played its way through the lower half of the tournament after slipping against Furia Academy, where they faced the German duel against BIG Academy for the second time in a row. Both teams qualified for the playoffs as group winners.

The finale was rarely really exciting. Mouz comfortably secured the first map and eventually brought home a lead on the second map as well. With a 2-0 victory (16:6; 16:13), the team remains the only champion of the tournament series so far.
