On collective student food, such as student transport for special education, or bus transport to the swimming pool or an extracurricular activity, wearing a mouth mask will be “recommended”, but not mandatory, from Monday. This is apparent from a newsletter that was sent to the education field on Saturday, after consultation with the umbrella organizations, the unions and Flemish Minister of Education Ben Weyts (N-VA). Mouth masks remain mandatory on public transport for anyone aged 12 and older.
