Denise and her neighbors are going crazy because of a mouse plague in their block of houses on the Stratingplantsoen in Velsen-Noord. At night the animals walk on the bed and there are droppings everywhere in the house. Not a nice situation for the mother with two young daughters. Combating it yourself is almost impossible and housing association Velison Wonen says it has already taken sufficient measures.
Denise came to live in Velsen-Noord this summer after a home exchange. She lived on the other side of the canal, in IJmuiden. She wanted to move because her daughter (7) is at school in Beverwijk.
“Now I really regret it. I would rather have had to take a little detour to take her to school than this plague of mice.”
