“That’s what top clubs have on the list”
After a season that has so far been unsatisfactory for him, Youssoufa Moukoko’s future at Borussia Dortmund is by no means set in stone. “It is not a matter of course that Youssoufa extends BVB,” said Patrick Williams, adviser to the attacker “Image”. The 17-year-old Moukoko has a contract with the black and yellow that is valid until 2023.
In the current season, the youngest Bundesliga goalscorer in history has only made eleven professional appearances over a total of 187 minutes due to injury, and the junior national striker has not scored a goal.

“Yes, injuries have thrown him back a bit this season. Yes, the competition at BVB is of course big. But he hardly gets the playing time he needs in the current phase of his career in Dortmund. Of course we’re thinking about what’s best for the future,” said consultant Williams, who claims to have enough applicants for his client on the list. “Of course, many clubs are interested in Youssoufa, that’s no secret. The end of his contract in the summer of 2023 is getting closer, the top clubs have that on the list
Moukoko is one of 18 players in Dortmund with a contract that expires in a year and a half. Ten professionals are going into their last year of contract this summer, and eight more are leaving the club in five months’ time on a free transfer.
