A motorist was seriously injured in an accident on Moerstraatseweg in Moerstraten on Thursday morning. A car collided with a van at an intersection.
The accident happened around half past seven. The driver was rushed to hospital in Rotterdam. Several ambulances and a trauma helicopter were present for medical assistance.
The damage to both the car and van is extensive. Debris was scattered all over the road. The intersection is currently closed for cleanup work.
