A motorist rammed his car into the facade of an empty café on Kerkstraat in Lepelstraat on Friday evening. Things went wrong around midnight.
Due to the severity of the accident, an ambulance and the fire brigade were called. The driver of the car was taken to a hospital in an ambulance.
Impeachment
The facade of the café is severely damaged. The area has been cordoned off with tape for safety reasons.
The extent of the damage to the building has not yet been announced. How the accident happened is under investigation.
