A motorist crashed into a lamppost in Roden last night after veering off the road. The car ended up upside down at Oostereinde in Roden around 1.15 am.
The motorist was able to climb out of the car himself and did not have to go to the hospital. He was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. He was taken to the police station.
