A car crashed into the back of a stationary car at an intersection in Vijhuizen last night. The driver of the accident then fled. There is still no trace of the driver.
The accident happened around two o’clock last night at a traffic light on the Drie Merenweg, near the Vijfhuizerweg. There, the motorist drove full into a car that was waiting for a red light, a police spokesperson confirms. The perpetrator then pressed the accelerator again and took off.
The person probably drove a red Fiat 500, which must have been severely damaged in the accident. The police investigation is still ongoing. No one was injured in the accident.
