Motorist injured in collision with city bus, bus passengers unharmed

A motorist was injured on Sunday morning after he collided with a city bus at the intersection of Professor Van Buchemlaan and Oude Hilvarenbeekseweg in Tilburg. This happened around ten o’clock.

The driver of the city bus is said to have overlooked the motorist, who was driving on a priority road, when he crossed the intersection with Professor Van Buchemlaan.

Passengers transferred
The motorist was taken in an ambulance to the adjacent ETZ Hospital.

The passengers in the city bus were not injured in the collision. They were able to transfer to another city bus and continue their journey.

Towing
The car was severely damaged by the collision. The car was towed and taken away by a salvage company.
