A motorist was injured in a single-vehicle accident on the Meenteweg between Meppel and Havelte. The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The accident happened around 7 p.m. and the car crashed into a tree. The road between Meppel and Havelte is temporarily closed for the police investigation. It is not yet known how the accident could have happened.
