A motorist was injured in an accident near Foxwolde last night. On Roderwolderweg, the driver, who may have been under the influence, rammed into a tree. He was injured and taken to hospital.
The single-vehicle accident happened just before 4:30 a.m. When the police and the ambulance service arrived, the man had already left his car. Paramedics then treated and transported him.
Blood will be taken from the victim in the hospital, because he presumably drove the vehicle under the influence.
