A motorist was seriously injured in an accident on the Elperstraat in Schoonloo last night.
The driver crashed into a tree for unknown reasons. Fire brigade, ambulance and a mobile medical team rushed to help the occupant in the badly damaged car. He was rushed to hospital. The police are investigating the accident.
