A motorist lost control of the wheel on the Markstraat in Musselkanaal on Tuesday morning, his vehicle went off the road and ended up in the Stadskanaal.
The driver managed to climb out of the car and help himself onto dry land, but was injured. The man was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
