A motorist died last night after he drove into a dukdalf of the ferry entrance on the Molenvaart in Breezand. The identity of the victim is not yet known, the police spokesman said.
The accident happened around 11:50 p.m. last night. The dukdalf that the car crashed into is part of the ferry to Julianadorp. The ferry was not running at the time of the accident. It is still unclear how the car ended up against the mooring post. It is also not yet known whether the fog played a role last night.
