A motorist crashed into a tree on the Meijelseweg in Heusden (municipality of Asten) on Sunday evening. The victim became trapped in her car. The fire brigade freed her. She was taken to hospital by ambulance.
The driver drove her car into a tree and then came to a stop against another tree. Several emergency services arrived on the scene and an air ambulance was called.
It is not clear how the accident happened.
