There was a collision between a motorist and a cyclist on the Maatlanden in Roden on a Monday morning around 6:20 am, in which the cyclist was injured. The victim was eventually taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
A traffic controller who happened to be passing by ensured that traffic on the Maatlanden was guided in the right direction at the time of the accident. The police are investigating exactly how the accident could have happened.
