A motorcyclist from Gieten had to hand in his driver’s license to the police this afternoon after he drove through the built-up area of Rolde at high speed. He will soon have to answer to the judge.
According to the police, the 22-year-old driver was driving through the village at 115 kilometers per hour. “Due to the high speed, his driver’s license has been recovered. The CBR has also been informed about his driving behavior,” writes the police of Aa and Hunze on Instagram. “In addition to speed, the driver also gave almost nowhere in direction and his driving style remained sporty.”
