Motorcyclist seriously injured after accident in Roeselare

At around 12.30 pm, things go wrong for the motorcyclist with passenger near the gas station. A van performs a maneuver at the intersection. Both the driver of the van and the motorcyclist misjudged the situation. Both vehicles can no longer swerve and collide.

The passenger of the motorcycle gets off with a fright. The driver, on the other hand, is seriously injured, but still conscious. The emergency services, including a MUG team, arrived on the scene.

The tow truck towed both the motorcycle and the van. For a while there was minor traffic disruption along the De Ruiter district.
