At the beginning of the evening, a motorcyclist was injured in an accident in Emmen. The victim was taken to hospital with unknown injuries.
For unknown reasons, the motorcycle crashed at the traffic lights on Hondsrugweg. As a result of the fall, petrol has spilled onto the road, causing two lanes to be closed temporarily.
Work is underway to clear the fuel, and as soon as the asphalt is clean, the road will be reopened.
