A motorcyclist was injured in an accident on the Rondweg in Emmen tonight. The driver crashed around 10:45 p.m. near the Delftlanden district and hit the asphalt.
The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance for further treatment. The police conducted an initial investigation at the scene of the accident to determine the cause of the fall. As a result, the road between Emmen-West and the Delftlanden district in the direction of Ter Apel was partially closed.
