Serious accident on Sunday morning! A motorcyclist went off the road and died in an accident. According to police, no other road user was involved in the crash.

The motorcyclist was heading out of town on Berliner Allee. According to witnesses, the man changed from the right to the left lane at around 9.30 a.m. at the level of Falkenberger Chaussee. He crashed into the curb, crashed into a BVG information stand at a tram stop and fell. The motorcycle continued to slide across the roadway.

The motorcyclist’s injuries were so severe that he died at the scene of the accident.

The traffic investigation service moved in and began extensive investigations. The crossing was surveyed with a drone. An expert was also on site, who is now preparing a technical report. The motorcycle was confiscated.

The road was reopened around 2 p.m.
