A very serious accident happened this afternoon at the intersection of the Veentangerdijk with the Bonnerdijk near Gieten. A motorcyclist was killed in the accident.
The motorcycle collided with a tractor and trailer. Emergency assistance was to no avail, the motorcyclist died on the spot.
What exactly happened is still unknown. The road is closed and the police are investigating.
