Motorcyclist dies in collision with parked car

The accident happened around half past three on Sunday morning in Roeselarestraat in Hooglede. The man drove towards Roeselare and swerved near the police station, causing him to collide with a parked car. “The motorcycle drove without any indications,” says Carl Vyncke of the RIHO police zone. “We don’t know what happened.” Although emergency services arrived quickly, the victim died on the spot.
