A motorcyclist was injured this morning in a collision with a car in ‘t Veld. He had to be taken away by ambulance.
The accident happened around half past ten at the intersection of Hartweg and Valbrugweg in ‘t Veld. A motorcyclist hit the side of a car. The motorcyclist (45) was injured.
After waiting for the emergency services, the motorcyclist was rushed to hospital. The driver of the car, a 74-year-old man, was not injured.
Circumstances are being investigated
It is currently unclear how the accident could have happened. The police spokesperson said the cause of the accident is currently being investigated. A recovery company collects the two damaged vehicles.
Because other cars could not pass through the intersection, traffic was briefly diverted this morning.
