A 34-year-old man from Helmond died on Saturday evening in an accident on Harmoniestraat in his hometown. The motorcyclist crashed into a lamppost in the middle of a residential area. According to police, no other traffic was involved in the accident.
The accident happened just after eight o’clock. Emergency services resuscitated the man, but help was to no avail. The police have closed the street and are investigating.
