In September, the motorcycle market returns to negative territory after the parenthesis of August. The month closed with 22,425 vehicles sold, corresponding to a drop of 3.6% on September 2021. The performance of mopeds was good, placing 1,748 vehicles on the market and recording a growth of 7.3%. In the registration, however, scooters underwent a decline of 11.3% equal to 11,292 vehicles sold, while motorcycles that grew by 5.3% and registered 9,385 vehicles.

The annual cumulative loss remains contained, with a decrease of 2.5% and 244,306 vehicles placed on the market. The trend of mopeds was very positive, growing by 16.5% and recording 17,370 units; motorbikes also show an increase of 4.6% corresponding to 108,620 registered vehicles. Scooters, also for the year, are marking time with a loss of 10.3% and 118,316 vehicles registered.

The absence of incentives slows down the electricity market, which recorded a minus sign with a decline of 8.4% and 920 units sold. However, growth over the year remained strong, with an increase of 59.6% equal to 12,873 vehicles (in detail, scooters + 63.8%; mopeds + 59.7%; motorcycles + 18.2%).
