On Monday evening, a motorcyclist hit a police officer during a traffic check.

At around 8:30 p.m., officers from section 21 were busy conducting a laser speed check on Nonnendammallee when an Audi RS e-tron GT and a motorcycle driving next to it literally “flew” towards them.

The officers wanted to stop both vehicles. The Audi driver stopped. According to BZ information, the motorcyclist also reacted briefly to the stop signal, but then gave full throttle and drove over an officer.

The police officer remained motionless on the road. The officer was injured and transported to a hospital, the nature and severity of the injuries are not yet known. The motorcyclist escaped undetected.

The driver of the electric racing car for the road (598 hp; 3.3 seconds 0-100 km/h) had his driver’s license taken away and that cost around 160,000 euros expensive Vehicle secured as a crime.
