He was popular with motorcyclists in Brandenburg: Pastor Frank Gehrmann – since 2003 he has also organized motorbike services in southern Brandenburg.

The father of five children was a passionate biker himself – tragic: now it has become known that the pastor died in a crash with his motorcycle in Altötting, Bavaria, almost two weeks ago!

About that “Märkische Oderzeitung” (MOZ) first reported.

“Motorcycling is fun for me. And I want to pass on this joy,” he once said.

In GDR times, Gehrmann, who came from Lübben, was on the road on a “Simson”. He leaves his wife Annegret, as reported by “MOZ”.

On June 24, Gehrmann was on his motorcycle on federal highway 229 near Altötting. An oncoming motorist wanted to turn left and missed the priest on the bike. He had no chance and died of his injuries at the scene of the accident.
