the initial situation
On Sunday Jorge Martin has the chance to strike again from pole. The Prima driver starts from the front row alongside Aleix Espargaro and Enea Bastianini. The latter will probably still have a bill to settle with the course after Saturday. The second row is made up of Brad Binder, Francesco Bagnaia and Marc Márquez. Rookie Pedro Acosta wants to stand out again, starting eighth on the third row together with Fabio Di Giannantonio (7th) and Álex Márquez (9th).

Colourful mix
After the sprint, fans can hope that the 2024 season will be colorful. With Ducati, KTM and Aprilia, three manufacturers were represented in the top 3. The Japanese manufacturers, who didn’t have much to report on Saturday, continue to have major problems. The best Yamaha rider was Fabio Quartararo in twelfth place. Honda didn’t get past 15th place with Joan Mir.

Martin wins sprint ahead of Binder
Jorge Martin was unbeatable in the sprint. The Spaniard started from pole and didn’t really have to worry about his victory at any point in the eleven laps. Second went to Brad Binder on the KTM, who had moved from fourth place to second at the start and was Martin’s first pursuer from that point on. Aleix Espargaro completes the podium.
