A motorcyclist was released with a fright in an accident on the N375 near Ruinerwold this afternoon. After coming into contact with a car, the engine shot off the road.
The engine ended up in the ditch next to the provincial road, various parts ended up in the berm on both sides of the water. The motorcyclist was checked by paramedics, but the injuries were not so serious that transport to hospital was necessary.
The N375 was partially closed after the accident.
